Project Overview
Ann Marie Edwards is a mortgage specialist known for her expertise and personalized approach to helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams. When she approached me to design her new website, her existing website did not effectively reflect her business or character. My goal was to create a website that showcased her unique offerings and connected with her target audience. Through a series of meetings and briefings, I gained insight into her needs and developed wireframes for the site, which were then implemented by a team of developers using Elementor.
The Problem
Ann Marie Edwards' original website failed to capture the essence of her business and personality. The design was outdated and did not align with her branding. Users found it challenging to navigate the site, and the information was not presented in a user-friendly manner. The website did not effectively convey her commitment to personalized service and attention to detail.
The Solution
To address these issues, I focused on creating a modern, intuitive design that highlighted Ann Marie Edwards' unique offerings and personality. My role included:
Meetings and Briefings: I worked closely with Ann Marie Edwards through several meetings and briefings to understand her business and goals. This allowed me to tailor the design to her specific needs.
Wireframe Creation: I created detailed wireframes that outlined the website's structure and user flow, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Branding and Visual Design: I designed the website to reflect Ann Marie Edwards' brand, using colors, typography, and imagery that aligned with her character and business ethos.
Hand-off to Developers: After creating the wireframes, I collaborated with a team of developers to bring the design to life using Elementor.
Major challenges included balancing Ann Marie Edwards' preferences with best practices in UX/UI design and ensuring the design accurately represented her brand. Coordination with the development team to achieve the desired outcome also required clear communication and attention to detail.
